Claveria View Deck, let’s enjoy the view!

I recently attended a wedding of my Brother in-law at Balingoan Misamis Oriental, the first thought that came in my mind the moment I received the invitation was – where I can find this province in the map? I know this is part of Mindanao but got no idea at all of its exact location. Nevertheless, my husband and I are excited since this would be our first time to be in this part of the Philippines.

While I am preparing our plane ticket, and arranging our day offs from work, I realized that exploring different places at this time seems unrealistic. Our four days stay would be consumed just for the wedding preparation, pictorials and some family gathering. I need to set aside my excitement of searching what places we could visit and focus on the main point why we are traveling for this moment. And that is to witness and support the special day of my brother-inlaw.

Because of that, I stopped searching details about this province as I don’t want to entice my eyes on the things that I might not see at all.

We didn’t know that the newly couple has plan for their guests who flew from different provinces to support their special day(most of us are first time here). On the last day before our flight, they arranged a whole day tour with some of the great tourist destinations in this province. One of those is the Claveria View Deck, located at Route 955 in Barangay Lanis, it is about one and half hour drive or 80km from Balingoan.

The Claveria View Deck is a two story platform where you can see the panoramic views of Balatukan Mountain Range.

As you arrive the lush greenery landscapes will greet you, you may have the same reaction as me the moment I saw this view first time, wow! is this painting or real? the view is really a great and relaxing. What a good memory to cherish in my mind.

No wonder this is one of the popular tourist spot for taking photos while enjoying nature scenic beauty.

This park is open daily from 6am to 6pm, that is perfect for every tourist to enjoy ample time here. Once you are here, forget the words hurry up, quickly, rush, just give yourself moment to appreciate the beauty, simplicity and calmness of this place, just sit back and enjoy each moment. You never know if there will be a chance again for you to comeback.

The Claveria View Deck is perfect to every visitor, this is ideal for family, couples and solo traveler. Whatever your reason for traveling here for sure after this trip you will realize how beautiful the simplest thing in life, it will give you inspiration to push and just continue your life regardless in which phases you are in now. Each visitor will find a peaceful spot to unwind and reconnect with nature here in Claveria Deck.

Another great thing on this place is, they are non smoking area. For non smoker this is our chance to breathe freely not worrying about smell of the smoke.

For sure you will spend an hour here so be sure to bring to your snacks and drinks too – but incase you are unable to bring one don’t worry there there is a store and mini cafe available.

If ever you prefer to bring your own that is totally fine, the management is generous in providing spot where guest can have their own meal.

and lastly, don’t forget to bring your gadget to take the the best souvenir ever, a photo or video that we can look back on every time you feel tired and stress in life this will serve a reminder that we still have a long list of amazing places that we need to see, and experience, we will work for that!
