
Global Village Dubai open to give joy despite COVID-19
Global Village Dubai, the popular family destination of the country has been part of the yearly tradition in UAE.
This is one of the tourist spots that are worth visiting. It will not only give you entertainment but also new knowledge. Since the main highlights of this park are promoting the best of many countries included in the event. You will appreciate other countries’ cultures, after all, the UAE is home to many cultures.
Despite the current pandemic, Dubai decides to open this theme park assuring that all precautions will be implemented.
According to its CEO Badr Anwahi, this year Global Village will create a one-of-a-kind experience.
Nothing to worry about the safety, as the precautionary measures below will take effect;
- Social distancing
- Signage will be clearly visible throughout the park
- Management is making the effort ensuring that all visitors will have a safe and fun time in the park
- All the access points will have an installed thermal screening
- The wearing of masks is mandatory for all guests and staff alike.
- Across the park, more than 600 hand sanitizer stations will be available
- Toilets, prayer rooms, and all touchpoints will be regularly check for cleaning and sanitation
- The usual Valet parking service has been replaced by the new Premium self-Parking car park following the best precautionary practices.
- Sanitation of all rides and attractions will be under monitoring, additional cleaning schedules will be set.
- Contactless payment solutions will be available across all outlets in the park. This is part of management efforts to utilize digitization capabilities to enhance guest experiences.
Visitors capacity
The outdoor venue is perfectly suited for social distancing. Global Village will strictly manage park capacity in line with the UAE government and health authority recommendations. If the park does reach capacity, they will alert the guests through social media and the new website and mobile app.
If the visitor has COVID virus symptoms
Global Village is working closely with all related authorities and will be following their set of protocols in dealing with any cases that show symptoms of the virus. Their thermal screening process that is installed at all entry points of the park will assist them to identify possible symptoms so they can prevent guests or partners with a high fever from entering the park. Their partners, Dubai Ambulance, operate at their destination and are on standby to support. They have implemented an isolation protocol in case any guests or staff exhibit symptoms until the individual is safely transferred to the medical authorities for further testing procedures.
What to expect in Global Village Season 25
Global Village always strives to bring new and exciting attractions to its guests. This year, they have two new pavilions: Russia and Cambodia. There will be a total of 26 pavilions that will be open across the park to represent 78 countries and these have their boutiques, food outlets, and entertainment stalls. More than 3,500 outlets will be present across the park to present our guests with unique cultural and entertainment programs and unforgettable experiences.

Though opening the park at this pandemic is challenging, but Global Village is proud of its strong health and safety record in its industry.
They became the first theme park in the world to win the “Sword of Honour” accreditation for safety management excellence from the British Safety Council and continue to work to standards developed alongside international bodies such as the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).

Saturday: 2pm-11pm
Sunday to Wednesday: 4 pm till midnight
Thursdays, Fridays, and public holidays: 4 pm until 1 am
Mondays remain reserved for families and ladies
Entrance fee remain the same as AED 15.00 each
