Victoria Peak Hong Kong Morning and Night View

December 02, 2017 – Day 01

Though I wasn’t able to complete my 2017 travel bucket list I am happy that I did the top 02 most important.

Those two are my priorities!

  1. A five days vacation at Hongkong to spend with my brother working there.
  2. And a two weeks vacation at the Philippines with hubby and I parents.

Hubby and I are excited about this dual purpose trip. This vacation is not just to rest but also to celebrate our 6 years wedding anniversary.

We left Dubai midnight of December 01, 2017 through Cathay Pacific. Thanks boss for not charging me the fare difference as my ticket price exceeded to the budget.

Our flight was smooth I couldn’t remember anything after 01:00 am as hubby and I fell asleep deeply.

We got sleepy after having this yummy dinner with a choco ice cream for desserts.

We woke up around 05:00 am as the flight attendant serves our morning snack.

Hubby and I are really in positive mood since we had a good night sleep.

Upon reaching Hongkong we directly went to the restroom we need to freshen up before anything else. We need to be ready and prepare for this busy long day.

We reached Hongkong around 11:00 am their local time so it still 07:00 am in our body clock. The immigration process is all fine and smooth.

I am so excited to explore and show hubby the places I’ve been in Hongkong during my previous visit here. This is my hubby’s first time in Hongkong while it is my third. But my excitement feeling is comparable to the first timer. Of course, this is much nicer since I am exploring it with my best bud.

The Hongkong Airport

My brother fetches us up in the airport and insisted to have lunch. Unfortunately, we really can’t as we just had the snack on board.

So we decided to drop all the luggage at our guest house. We took the bus towards Cause Way bay and it took us almost an hour to reach the place.

From the bus stop, we had to walk for about 15 minutes to our guest’s house.

Brother is right the guest house I found has a good location. The area is so convenient it is walking distance from the train, tram, bus, taxi stand and numerous shopping mall.

It is in Time House Guest House.

We got a good deal from booking.com at the cost of AED105.00 per night.

As expected on the deal I got, the room is not that impressive. Still, we are fine as long as there is a private bathroom, comfortable bed, air-condition and a good hot shower.

That would be OK since we will be out for the whole day. We rather use the money to explore new things than spending it on an expensive hotel.

Our check-in was perfect and hassle-free thanks to the receptionist on duty who assisted us so well.

After checking in we started our exploration.

Just a few walk away from our guest house we had our first street food. According to bro, that stall is famous in Causeway Bay and really in demand. Hubby and I cravings for this type of foods satisfied!

The supposed to be light meal turns into a heavy full lunch. We can’t resist the tasty variety of dim sum.

Then we went to World Wide House central to meet a good friend to join our Victoria Peak tour.

Since we still have enough time we use bus going to peak from Central which took us about 45 minutes.

I know hubby will like this place as the view is a mix of natural scenery and amazing modern buildings.

And I was right he really did enjoy the view. Aside from these picturesque, we enjoyed meeting different cute doggies too.

Not sure if this is pug or bulldog. Hongkong people are such a dog lover and they treat them like their kid. Some of them even hired a caretaker for their lovable dogs.

So while it still early we maximize the time to enjoy the Victoria Peak Morning view. We enjoy walking around and feeling the cold air.

Around 6:00 pm we went back to observatory deck to witness the other view of Hongkong.

Victoria Peak Observatory Deck. Experience the 360-degree panoramic view at Sky Terrace 428 with a cost less than HKD100.

Despite I’ve seen this view several times I am still amazed by the city’s lightning and tall buildings.

Another thing you will enjoy in Victoria Peak at no extra cost is their 3D Museum. It is fun for your wacky unlimited pose as you want.

All of us enjoyed this and feel as if we were kids again. Above are just two of the many photos I have 🙂

After that happy and playing moments, we really got hungry. We all decided to have an authentic Chinese noodle for dinner.

We use the Peak Tram so we can reach the restaurant as fast as we can.

One way trip is less than HKD40.00

Almost 08:00 PM but there are still a lot of people in the queue waiting for the tram going up. Good thing we went there a little early.

If you are planning to have your vacation in Hongkong guys never ever missed visiting The Victoria Peak. this is a highly recommended to see the best view of HongKong both morning and night.
