Are you searching for an authentic Arabic restaurant in San Mateo Rizal?

Recently , I visited a humble little café on C6 Road, Daang Bakal, San Mateo Rizal. Its name intrigued me, I think this could be the place to discover an authentic and affordable Arabic meal.

I worked in the Middle East for nearly fifteen years, the Arabic cuisine is one of the things I truly miss from that region. Yes, there are many Arabic restaurants in the Philippines that offer delicious meals. Nevertheless, the majority of them are located in the primary city of NCR, which I couldn’t visit due to distance, traffic and time limitations.

Fortunately, San Mateo Rizal is becoming part of the scene; in addition to its beautiful attractions, there are many great restaurants that are worth exploring.

Only a week ago, I enjoyed my lunch at Arbab Kebab. Initially, I was uncertain whether the flavor is authentic or at least resemble to the real one. After tasting a piece of their chicken dish, I’d say this would make an excellent and satisying lunch.

The flavor, scent, and presentation remind my days from the Middle East.

Even the garlic paste and tomatoes side dish taste has the strong and good flavorful.

With only Php 475-700, you can savor this meal for two. It has a good size of chicken and generous amount of rice.

I finished my lunch in Arabic way with a cup of Chai!

There are still many meal choices that I plan to try on my next visit here, for now I am satisfied with what I had.

There is no restroom in the eatery; you must cross the street, and it’s not very clean.
